HOW DO YOU VIEW LIFE
1. A Race: Those that view life as a race always mind those around them because they have place themselves in a competition, if you look at life from competition perspective, you will offend many and you will be offended in so many. Because in race you will always wanted to be number one and the mistake, lack of strength and ultimate failure of your counterparts May result in your own success, so you will hardly wish opposition well in a race. Race is good in sports competition but not in fulfilment of destiny. Let's go to number two
2. Journey: Those who takes life as a journey are mindful of nobody except attackers, because they are not in any competition with anybody, such people will never insult or look for ways to wreck others in their field for them to rise. They believed in themselves and make use of material within. That is the story of most great men that have left good impart behind them.
Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour took Life as a journey and he succeed but John the Baptist took life as a race (study Matthew Chapter 11 and 14), he got offended, was killed and lost his place on earth today. His ministry and people would have continued till now but he lost it all. Paul the apostle wasn't in a race with Peter or other apostle but was simply making his mark in fact he said
Philippians 3:10-14 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
So dear, take it easy, take Life as a journey not a race or competition, make use of your God given materials.
Be blessed
