POWERS IN CHRISTIANITY I welcome you to this eye opening revelation. May the name of the Lord be highly glorified? You are welcome. You must agree that Christianity is not the ways of man ordered by men; it’s the ways of God directed by God. Christianity is the link or connection between God and man. Christianity is purely heavenly Jerusalem on the earth. The following scripture says more, firstly John 1:12 says But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: the day you surrender your life to Christ, the power to be a son of God was instantly invested in you. 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Old things are passed away; meaning you have been renewed to live Christ life. No more old ways of living, this is the reason why Christians are always different in any environment they are found; their words, act and appearance always depicts godliness. In the book of Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.   They were called Christian because the people around them then had watched them over and over again and they could link their characteristics to that of Christ, after which the people had carried out their hypothesis they impound a theory called a Christian. Their was no perfect man on the earth until Christ came, but when Jesus Christ had physically left them they still found some folks behaving exactly like Jesus Christ. So a Christian is someone who possessed the characteristics of Jesus Christ in deeds and words. Also let’s look at POWER: Power is ability to make a change physically and spiritually. God made the whole world by the power of his word. Psalm 104, he divided the red sea, sank wall of Jericho, deliver his children from Egypt by his power, therefore Power is ability to make ordinary and extraordinary changes, power is ability to turn the un-turn-able forcefully. The main difference between human power and incomparable power of God is that; the power of man can’t achieve anything great without a noticeable strength, that’s why God could make the whole world within six days without any noise. Men can’t build houses without any noise so we are looking at Powers In Christianity. Wealth Power: Deuteronomy 8:18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. You will agree with me that it’s a spiritual law that giving is the right way to have more. Luke 6:38 confirmed it! Proverbs 3:9-10, 2Corinthians 9:6-10 are all relevant to giving and receiving. Without the power to get wealth you can’t give acceptable offering. Power to get wealth is loaded with virtues of doing the right thing to be rich, investing in profit making businesses, ability to manage abundance of money and materials, acquiring capacity to sustain wealth and growing wealth are all as a result of power to get wealth. God of the whole earth gives Power to get wealth to whomever he wills, but if you are not willing to be a blessing to help out and to raise others you are not a candidate for God kind of wealth.   Health Power: 3John: 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. From Biblical knowledge it’s evident that health hazards diseases and sickness are mainly as a result of the fall of man, curses and disobedient. That is a major prove that if God don’t give you health you can’t have it. In Christianity you have free access to health if you will obey God and yield yourself totally to his command. When health power flood your life you will be free from all sickness, you won’t even need medical practitioner precautions and directions because God’s power had guaranteed your health though it’s noted that the issue of health is on individual basis, a son may be healthy and the parent sickly, wife may be sickly while husband is very healthy. It’s to whom that ask of God. You can open up to God on the basis of health and he will grant you, it has been noted that one major package in the lunch box of the evangelist is health therefore if you are an obedient servant of God, you will be healthy, he that sends you will keep you fit. Isaiah 53:1-5 Repentance Power: Matthew 11:28-30 To be labouring under sin is not an easy yoke, it can break your neck. One major yoke that the devils places on Christian and non Christian is addiction to a particular sin, which will cause you to be labouring hard and suffer unrest. At the root of restlessness, stagnation and unanswered prayer are evil addictions. Here is what God is saying ‘if that sin is an open one; go inside your closet and confess it before the Lord and he is faithful and just to forgive you but if it’s and hidden sin then come out of your title, pride, self worth to rededicate your life to Jesus Christ and he will give you power to overcome it. The main reasons why people are wallowing in the miry clay of some sinful dirty addictions is because they love it, and any sin you Love, you won’t pray against. If you for instance Love extra marital affairs; you won’t pray against it, and until you pray against a particular addiction personally and reject it within, what to do to be free won’t come on you, neither would you receive deliverance from it at the repentance.  Act 2:37-44, John 3:1-16 Repentance power is the power invested in salvation to break away the bondages of sin and dirty addictions. Repentance power brings you all anew and every old ways of living will be wiped out. More so if you are a Christian and still tied down by some sin Hebrew 12:1-2 then don’t covered it be open because Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
