THE ENGINE OF MINE (ETERNAL) LIFE

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

It’s good to always note that one other aspect of the Holy Bible is Testimony. It’s a book of testimony of the saints that have trod the path of righteousness and holiness we are found today. There testimonies strengthening and encourages us today. We will be looking into one of such testimonies, found in Galatians 2:20. He started by saying I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live;… This saying would have come up probably as a result of how he’s living his life, how other fellow Christian viewed him. He means to say ‘Don’t expect me to say it, do it, react to it as normal or expected my actions according to the norm. I am crucified with Christ:. I can’t do it,  I’m dead to the expectations of the flesh. He mean to say ‘I had left the realm of just an ordinary man am nailed with Christ though I Lived. In another way He’s saying: look at me, I am different from you, I’m deep rooted and totally lost into Christ. I’m not serving him halfway. The power of such statement and life is that of freedom from all earthly limitations. At that point what can’t kill Jesus Christ can’t dear you because you had died with him on the cross and living a resurrected life. So the cheapest way out of the hands of the wicked devil is when you are totally lost into Christ (fully dedicated). Once the devil can’t capture you with his instrument in your hide out; he’s helpless and left with barking like dogs. Iron rods couldn’t kill Paul, he fought with beat, viper couldn’t harm him, hunger couldn’t hurt him, and they stoned him he did not die. Paul was too much for the wicked because he was crucified with Christ: 2Corinthians 11:23-33, 6:4-10, Act 28:1-6. So no matter how fierce the battle against our life what determine our conquering is how crucified with Christ we are. His testimonies continued, he said ; …yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:…

This statement directly shows that, without the Holy one in us, we can’t be free from filthiness. The engine of his eternal life is Jesus Christ. His natural life was let out to Christ in exchange for eternal life. It’s good to allow our Lord and master Jesus to take the lead and direct us and we should desist from our own ways that isn’t divinely proven and rarely take decisions on our own without his approval. Men and women that are totally in Christ respond to situations as divinely prompted not as they wish. There is always what you want to do, how you want it done, but yet there is also how God in you wanted it done, which won’t be forced on you. Divine promptings might cause you to shiver such as embarking on a journey, or taking a particular step which in your natural eyes seems as if, it’s the end of your life. Apostle Paul Concluded this testimony this way  ‘…and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

The truth is that, it won’t end in shame. Any step Jesus is asking you to take will never end in shame, despondency or regret because he Jesus had given himself for you. The error we often commit is when we intentionally put off the engine of the eternal life in us and goes natural, there will be misleading because at the best of our sharp and detective mind; we are still very much liable to errors whereas there are no errors in God. You can’t run your life on the basis of feeling, what you like, dislike, want, detested or something natural.

The more you bow your fleshly (natural) desires to Jesus Christ, the freer you live. I decree your Freedom in Jesus name. Also you need to know that before divine leading and signal from heaven; the place of prayer, worship, fasting, serving and praising God amidst others must be embraced. I pray from today onward your natural life shall not destroy your supernatural life in Jesus name.
