BE SPIRITUAL You are welcome to this wisdom centre and the instructor's office; where your life will be redirected the right way. Some wondered why they are anointed, filled with the Spirit of God and still walk in errors. Almost every aspect of there life is in error. Being born again had won you a ticket to God's heart and living day to day life style with heavenly back up and fulfillment. God is set to pull you out of errors and as you swim in the ocean of his word in this edition of Voices From Zion titled: BE SPIRITUAL Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. The word be Spiritual here doesn't connote 'being full of devils' neither does it mean consult an oracle or your family deity. It does not mean that you should commit your life into the hands of Spiritualists, herbalists or occultist. Be Spiritual does not mean that you should join witch craft, or look for marine powers, or intentionally start heeding strange voices and be following evil sight played in your night dreams. Remember what the following scripture says: Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God. Leviticus19:31      Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. Psalms 16:4. So dear, be Spiritual does not mean 'use Spiritual enhancement' no not all. Some are so enchanted that they can visit five countries in two hours, some use divination that they already knew what will become of all their children, they can even foresee evil and block great things coming the way of others by the power of divination. The truth is that the powers of the Devil such as enchantments, divination, defilers and other Satanic powers will simply make you devilish; an instrument of destruction that can be destroyed at any time by God's omnipotent power. Once you are devilish, you become God's enemy. Here is what God says about such person; And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16:20   that means every devilish man or woman will soon suffer unhealed, broken to pieces injury. What Does It Mean To Be Spiritual?: this can only be well understood after one has given his or her life to Christ. As long as you are in the flesh and have not surrendered your life consciously to Jesus Christ you can't really know and experience the blessings of Spirituality. If you want to be Spiritual then give your life to Christ and no earthly forces will be able to handle you. To be Spiritual means: To Be a Wind: Once you are born again the devil can no longer determine your going out and your coming in. you will start living your life according to the dictate of Jesus your master. John 3:8 as the wind cannot be enchanted, divined, stopped or even defiled so you will become unstoppable and can't be comprehended by Satanic forces. People will only hear of your exploit but will not be able to stop you; nobody will know how to stop the way against you just because you are Spiritual.The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8 To Be a Christian: just as Jesus Christ is Spiritual, you will need to be Spiritual too. It is your Spiritual content that makes you a Christian not your outlook. When you give your life to Christ and accept him as your Lord and Saviour, It does not change your complexion, height or citizenship and nation but something inside you changes that converts you to Christ-like, and makes you hate the sin you once embraced. It is documented in Galatians 5:24 that  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  It is believed by many bible readers  today that people of Antioch had watched the disciples of Christ closely and study them overtime before they nick-named them Christian. They watch their words, steps, preaching and reaction before they called them Christian. Look at the word again ‘CHRISTIAN’ there cannot be a Christian without Christ. Nowadays some church people parades themselves as if they are truly Christ-like. In Act 11:26 they didn't brand themselves Christian; they were actually called Christians. It is also good for gospel ministers to school new converts on what it really mean to be a Christian because many don't really know. Now let's read it: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Uplift God’s Word Above All: Psalm 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. Uplift the Bible instructions and principles above all the wisdom of men, which is interpreted as you are being Spiritual; believing and behaving(acting) the Word of God in truth, then the word makes you fearless and renders your enemies powerless. Anyone that look at the situations of life with in the eyes of scripture will always have answers to the problems. Undiagnosed sickness can be heal by faith in the word of God. Incurable diseases can be cured by the encounter of light in the word of God. Life threatening situations can't stand the word of God(the Holy Bible) for us to get more benefits from Spirituality, you need to note the following:-   Sow to the Spirit: Galatians 6:8 Your Spiritual growth is your own assignments. Investing in learning more of God through gospel teachings, gospel literatures and gospel music. Attend bible classes and prayer meetings, that way you are digging into the more of God which is unending. If a Christian invests too much in pleasure of the world, virtues might left him. When you begin to sow to the Spirit and get more edified, your Spiritual growth would be automatically enhanced. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Worldly Friendship: This aspect of human life had got most destiny in Christ drowned today. I have to tell you the truth; so many anointed gospel ministers have been stripped off of all virtues and gift of God; running around with noise but no prove because of this destructive engagement with worldly friends. It's God's commandment to 'Love All' and also it is his commandment 'not to be defiled' Once any in the faith desires an ungodly affection with those outside the faith, such person is on his way to a crash. Psalm 1:1-3 says Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  *But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  *And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  And 1st Corinthians 15:33 says Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.   It's so obvious that most Christians lived in the Spirit but walk not in the Spirit. Inside their house they are a good Christian but immediately they step out they are no more spiritual. Some are a good Christian inside the church building but not in their business places. Some are Christian to other Christians but not to their extended family and the public.  Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit is a great counsel which Christians should follow.  It isn't becoming fanatic when one Spiritualize everything, it actually controls the physical. Such that where medical fails and science couldn't go further, Spirituality always breaks forth. Sidelining God's word the Holy Bible, in social, national and family matters is foolishness. Walk in the Spirit, let the Spirit lead before you counsel anyone; see through the eyes of the Spirit before you embark on any journey. When the unexpected happens tackle it God's way. One thing God is saying to you is Be Spiritual. Spirituality delivers from unnecessary arguments, compliments and commendation. It delivers you from taking wrong steps, as your Spirit-man is immerse in divinity. You will always receive instructions for being Spiritual. God will meet your needs today. Amen! So dear, be Spiritual does not mean ‘use Spiritual enhancement’ no not all.
