There is a group of people on the earth today that possess some divine qualities which made them invincible and can’t be conquered. They are soldiers that always win, no matter how tough and fierce the battle. They are overcomers that cannot be overcome. They are the Christians, the followers of Jesus Christ. The negativity of the earth is too weak to determine their destiny. They are stronger than situations of life and very much above what so many others are submerge under, but why can’t they be overcame? why are they the best and strongest troop ever? find out in this hot edition of Voices From Zion Titled:
SAME BELIEF
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 2nd Corinthians 4:13
CHRISTIAN: There are some words used by people to insult or nicknames. Such is Christian. which means in another word a little Christ. Christian came as a result of observation, given to the believers of the then, as a kind of insult or nickname by the people that had watched them overtime and networked their deeds to that of Jesus Christ. And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Act 11:26
Christianity as it is called by so many all around the world today is rooted in Christ, but emanates from the general world, which also means that you are not a Christian until the people who are around you calls you one. You are not a Christian until the unbelievers around you called you one. There is difference between black and white colour and the difference between light and darkness is an obvious one. Christians are always noticed because there is no one on earth as Jesus Christ before he came and those that carry his presence and honour after he had left physically are the Christians. The name can also be related to Isaiah 9:8 which says The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel. As a fulfilment of Prophecy, just as Jacob became a nation called Israel so also are many nations and tribes today. A citizen of Nigeria is referred to as a Nigerian and the citizen of America is referred to as American, Canada are referred to Canadian so also are the People of Christ are referred to as Christian. Therefore every Christian is Jesus personified and are eligible to do what Jesus did when he was here with us. James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Let’s look into the perfect law of liberty to see some of those things Jesus did.
- Jesus Heals and Deliver: There are several records of Jesus healing the sick and the oppressed in the bible. Many that were taken by devilish spirits were delivered by him. In Luke 13:1-13, a woman that was bound low (she couldn’t stand straight) was healed by Jesus. Amidst many blind, lame and maim he attended to and all came out of their deformity. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the Christians also healed the sick, deliver the oppressed and open blind eyes in his name. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Acts 6:8
- Jesus Raise The Dead: Jesus raised so many dead back to life, talk of Jairus Daughter Mark 5:22-43 He raise the widows only son in Luke 7:11-15 and that one of Lazarus after four days was a breathe taking testimony in John 11: 38-44 …Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. *And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. *And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. *And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. The most powerful and wicked demonic spirit called Death couldn’t resist the voice of Jesus. His Voice transcends the region of death and bring back to life. Apostle Peter keen follower of Jesus also went in to the house of Dorcas and brought her back to Life. Act 9:39-42 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them. *But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. *And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive. *And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
The Christians have the power of Christ in them. What makes Christians do what Jesus did is their belief in their master according to what he told them that he’s with them, which means any gathering of Christians without miracles of Jesus, is just a mean religious gathering. Our belief is the one which is refer to as Spirit of faith. 2nd Corinthians 4:13 Peter and John have same belief in the word and were able to raise the lame man at the beautiful gate. Once any man (Christian) shift his focus from Christ and his word, such has lost faith. Any Christian who’s belief negate the scriptures cannot command signs and wonders. Our same belief is what forms same faith and our same faith is what form the spirit of faith. If you don’t belief totally in what the word says you don’t have the same spirit with us that believed.
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written… If a group of Christian hold unto a particular word of God or prophecy, it’s referred to as the spirit of faith. For instance for a nation that is under an oppression or strong depression, the Christians can come together and demand a word from the Lord and stood by it and bring God down by their faith to the situation and there will be solution. The disciples of Jesus also engage Psalm 146:6 and Psalm 2, John 10:36, Luke 4:18 when they face trials in Act 4:23-33 they prayed and believed and their was instant divine intervention. There is power in cooperate belief. If your pastor or prophet declares what the year should be called, receive it and believe it, that’s the Spirit of faith which is formed by same belief.
SAME BELIEF
…I believed, and therefore have I spoken;… When you believed with others then you change to what others are saying, which should be heart rooted words with conviction that the word declared is for all especially you. This year, you will rise in Jesus name.
… we also believe, and therefore speak It’s imparting and contagious. An atmosphere can be charged with same belief that the moment you steps in there you will be engrossed with the light they are walking in and begin to speak what they are saying. If all Christians can come together in one unity of faith, we will all win all wars, all assaults and overcome all battles. If insurgency clears everyone, what to inherit will become an history. Let’s fight in one faith and same belief. No troop is stronger than ours.
Just one word for you! Come onboard, if you are a religious person or follower of wrong belief, you hardly move well with Christians that speak God’s word and prophesy what they have believed, because you are not a Christian yet. Such religious individuals are missing the peace, glamour, establishment and fulfilment loaded into salvation. If you are not a Christian, the devil has scammed you.
