There are all kinds of knowledge put together to counter (attack) the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ round the world today. There are religions built up against the word of God (the Holy Bible) to counterfeit the bible words and presenting false knowledge as what to be followed. Some religions see Christians as meal to eat, rat to kill, and people not worth to live because of the right knowledge they have possessed. For you to know if the coming, death and resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ are real, this special edition of Voices From Zion is put together titled:
JESUS STILL APPEARS TO PEOPLE
1Corinthians 15:5-8
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: *After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. *After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. *And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
Everyone chose what to believe, no matter what they are told, thought or passed down to them. You may choose not to believe. Yet you might not believe that fire burns but when you encounter fire and you got burnt, you will believe by force. Electric current might mean nothing to you, you might even play with naked wire that has no current in it but any day you suffer electric shock, you will have to believe and respect it. No man will see trailer tyre running speedily towards him and not go out of the way. You won’t sight a big stone rolling towards you and stay there watching: I know you don’t want to die. There are things we are forced to believe weather it agrees with our intellect or not.
You might not believe in Jesus Christ as the only Messiah but when you witness a great miracle of amputated legs grew back in the name of Jesus, a totally blind man that received his sight back, the dead that rise at the name of Jesus, you will be forced to believe. Let’s read the following scriptures: 1. Act 3:1-19 …Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. *And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. *And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. *And all the people saw him walking and praising God…
- Act 14:7-11 And there they preached the gospel. *And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: *The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, *Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. *And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
- Act 28:1-6 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. *And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. *And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. *Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
The scriptures above show how people’s heart were smote and were forced to believe in the power of the name and person of Jesus. The truth is, you can’t encounter Jesus and still remain the same. You can’t call him continuously and he won’t appear. As of today he still appears to people in several ways.
- By His Word: He still appears to people by his word. There are people that through the reading and studying other edition of this Voices From Zion, Jesus appeared unto them; settling their case by the word they encounter. So many are encountering Jesus every day via the Holy Bible. One of those ways to prove a growing Christian is hearing from Jesus from the pages of the Bible. He said John 8:31 the word of God also admonishes us Colossians 3:16
- Through His Servants: This could also be any child of God. When they pray for you, counsel you or lay hands on you for spiritual transference of God’s grace. Through these operations you might be relieved or be totally delivered. Those that carry the Life of God in them can communicate it to others. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; John 5:26 today there are Christians who Jesus have wrought signs and wonders through their hands. I decree over you that every devilish interference over your life is destroyed totally now in Jesus name. Receive light and rise.
- Physically: This will be hard for many to believe that Jesus still appear to many physically to help them through a particular situation or as a confirmation that He’s alive. There are several testimonies of invisible guests among Christians today. Some women being helped during child bearing, some bills payment, some rescued from danger zone, some already abducted, imprisoned but cannot tell how they are let lose by an unidentified individual. Jesus has appeared to some as a medical personnel, a police officers, some guards, some helpers, and in several form. Some little children in the church have also shared their experience of seeing Jesus, and that he had holes on his hands and feet. The word says My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. *And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 1 John 3:18-19 Quite most of us believers and even some unbelievers have heard his voice in our heart, may be when you want to end it, or take a very dangerous steps, he has always been there with you in your hearts. In fact there are people that surrender to Jesus Christ and became born again by hearing a voice in their heart and start attending Church services. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:5. One truth we should appreciate is that even when man refuses to do God’s work he’s sufficient all by himself. Listen!
And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. Isaiah 59:16 Also, most of the time when we have preach, counsel, advice and Pray for a person or some individuals, Jesus takes it up from there. Yet most of the time when Jesus comes through for us, many would only know or come back to their senses after he had left. It also happened after his resurrection in Luke 24:12-32 Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass. *And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. *And they talked together of all these things which had happened. *And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. *But their eyes were holden that they should not know him…And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. *But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. *And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. *And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? From now onward at every cross road, you will encounter Jesus.
- In Trances and Dreams: Jesus’ appearances might be through dreams and trances or taking any form that suite the situation. There were dreamland experiences that turned testimony in the reality. A woman was operated upon by a neuro surgeon in the dream and when she woke up back to reality, the terminal diseases she was carrying was gone. Also some had through Trances and dreams received instructions and some called into church ministry. You can receive transference of power, be transformed, be delivered, be instructed on what to do, encounter revelation or might even see, how heaven looks like in trances. God visited Solomon through dreams in 1 Kings 3:4-5 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. *In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee. He made him the wisest and the richest. If God met with you in dreams and trances, you won’t wake up with fear.
- In The Spirit: Revelation 1: 10-11 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, *Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book… Jesus can appear to you in the Spirit realm such that you are not sleeping but in deep worship, or when meditating on His word; you are caught up and he appears to you. Today you will testify in Jesus name. Paul didn’t meet him physically but also saw him. There are men and women around the world today whom only the appearance of Jesus can win their soul over. So, all Christians should keep to praying for Jesus appearance to many for salvation of souls. Some have heard the word of salvation but it will take the appearance of Jesus for them to be converted. Ananias and other disciples might not have taken Saul’s name (turn to Paul) to the Lord in prayers but as they were preaching and praying for more souls into the kingdom, Jesus made him his candidate. Receive Divine Understanding! Jesus will appear to you today!
