MY WIFE, MY BEST FRIEND
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the WEAKER VESSEL, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. 1 Peter 3:7
This statement as an act has brought some marital relationship into mystery. When you can’t do without someone that had injured you internally and deep, when you find it difficult to separate from a dearly spouse but through whom life had really dealt with you. No matter how sensible and useful, you find your wife’s thought, always remind yourself that she’s your wife and there are vacuums you must fill in her life. Some men had reduced their wife to a business partner only whereas there are things every woman looks forward to in her man.
- A Wise Man: not a fool, a man that will be her pride. A man that will protect her image before many, fight for her, accept her ugliness and never make her regret. Most women knew that they are less capacitated in handling some family matters but rely on their husband for orderliness in the home and hedge cutters when matters arises but you have made her just a business partner and not fulfilling other aspect of her life. Also if she turns out to be your best adviser, reliable stress reliever, your best business partner and your seer, I wonder what you will be to her and how such action will keep you as the head over her. That may kill the real affection she want from you and instead of treating as her husband, you will be treated as one of her child. Be a man.
- A Strong Man: a man that cannot dear threat for his family, who runs for his life at the sound of a gunshot. Such man cannot be a pride of his wife. Most married women want their husband to be a rock of defense for them. On the other side, if the woman is the rock of safety for the house, it may dampen the respect of the man. Some of those things that earn men respect from their wives include strength and ability to dare. It’s better when the wife depend on her husband than the other way. Also women possess some supernatural ability to defend or stand by; husband should not depend on that too. A man must find away to remain the head without relegating anyone in the family. Your wife should know you are better of even spiritually.
- A Romantic Man: Every woman always want her husband to be on the lookout for her. You can’t call her too much. The more you call her and she answers the more her submission for you. The Love any man have for his wife may unlock the better part of her. On the order side if the woman is the one always after the man, the unexpected would soon take the stage in that family. No matter how strong and helpful a wife might be, she needs to be Loved by her husband. Love your wife in words, in giving and in deed. I Love you is a common words which many had violated but if you can act it out, then you will enjoy her more.

A friend is a close outsider that likes you, but you tied the knot with your wife to live as one. So husbands have to keep and cherish their wife. There is nothing wrong having your wife in your business, but everything is wrong when you are absent in her life though living with her.
For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. *For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. *For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. Isaiah 54:5-7
For every woman who had been missing her husband’s best in her marriage, God Almighty will reach out to you today. If you can repair the bridges between you and God, his power will overturn your husband to your crown. Some women are truly submissive but not enjoying the company their man. Submission without Love is like slavery. If you will allow God to step-in as your real husband, He will act it out in the man that marries you.
