UNREST
We have come to an age where people do all kinds for money sake; we have come to an age where divine (God’s) intervention is too slow to many. The age we are in is loaded with many deceivers and liars. The life of so many men and women young and old irrespective of their colour, race, language and their educational background are full of unrest, so many lives their day to day life in un-accomplishment some people carries emblem of failure, in their family business, ministry, they are a blatant failure. To some it is like God don’t exist. Yet the almighty God had made you for a fruitful and bountiful life; to know why you have been suffering that UNREST, Join us go down into this edition of Voices From ZION called UNREST
Psalm 101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. Let’s look through the following:
A. The Regenerated Soul:
The regenerated soul are those that had received Christ as their Lord and saviour and have been delivered from generational problems, those that God had re-ordered their lives back to himself. They are no more in the lineage of those merely existing but living for God’s kingdom. The regenerated souls are those that are washed by the blood of the lamb and sanctified. Read and study the following scriptures: 1Corithians 6:9-11, 20, John 1:12, Act 3:26 for more understanding
B. Baptism:
We have two major baptisms among others. First is
I. Water Baptism: This is baptising you into Christ by immersion; which also symbolizes that you have received Jesus and no turning back. Water baptism is for those that had received Jesus and made up their mind to follow him, it looks like an ordinary exercise but the scripture commanded it to fulfil all righteousness. Anyone that has been baptized by immersion into water must remain solidly rooted in Christ Jesus. It’s recorded in Matthew 3:13-15, 28:18-20, Act 8:34-38, 1Corinthians 1:16-17 The second baptism is
II. Holyghost Baptism: This is to be endue with the power of God from heaven. It’s the Holy Spirit indwelling in you with evidence of witnessing for Christ and speaking in other languages or tongues. Until Holy Ghost comes into you, you are empty on your inside and you can’t possess the gift of the Holy Ghost. Anointing, powers and gift of Holy Spirit comes as you continue your walk with God in the Holy Ghost. Those who pray in unknown language get edified. At the point of Holy Ghost baptism it shows that you are not just a regenerated soul but an instrument in the hand of God. Let us read the following scripture and study them. C. Gospel Minister: Minister in the Bible: represent those that minister in priest office, they minister unto God and to people. Minister can be called some other names such as Pastor, Apostle, Bishop, Evangelist e.t.c they are to minister to the people of God, there are some other God’s servant that minister through songs, hymns, the works of their hands, materials, money e.t.c ministers are to edify the body of Christ in Holiness, they are to show forth the power of God. They are to feed God’s people with God’s word, accommodate, direct, pray for and cater for the sheep. Ministering is a calling. Ministers are like a god among Christians, they are endued with anointing on specific for the growth of the Lord’s body. Let’s go into the Bible and study about Gospel minister: Exodus 3:1-10, 30:30, 1Timothy 3:2, Eph 3:8-11, Psalm 103:21
The Root Of Unrest:
The regenerated Souls; that had gone off the dictate and laws of God, had lost his salvation, so many so-called believers or Christians (children of God) but they are deceivers, they are called good Christian but they are not. They look like a child of God, they talk and relate with other Christian as a child of God but they are not. My brother let me advice you; the reason for your unrest is because of your deceitful dirty life. You are not the Christian people calls you, sir, you know that if Christ comes now; you will rotten in hell. Hello sister white in church and black outside church, only those that settles with God ever get settled in life. In case you don’t know, the reason behind all your failures, un-accomplishment and rejection is because of your black and white life. Let us read these scriptures: 1John 2:22-24 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. *He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1John 3:7-8
After Baptism: Baptism is not just a religious rite but commandment of scriptures. If after you have been buried and resurrected with Christ, in water baptism you still went back to your old life, then you are a deceiver, deceiving your own self. God cannot be mocked; God had prepared his saints not sinners. Some at the pool for water baptism, they will ask them ’are you born again’ they will respond YES and they knew they were not. Going back to the world after water baptism is a major sin before God. May be you did that water baptism for some personal reasons; you need to retrace your steps, because water baptism are for those who truly surrendered to Christ.
On the other hand some had gotten to the level of witnessing Christ, speaking in tongues and yet they went back into devil’s cult, may be because of their business or anticipated position in the society or in the Church. Not all speaking in tongues are true; some are just conjunction of wrong words that makes no meaning to God. Check yourself, stop lying!. The reason you prayed and no response is because God had rejected you since you left him. God hate to see you or hear you, only his mercy has kept you. Change your ways and return back to God. Be ready to lose anything and not to lose God. Read these scriptures: For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1John 5:3 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: * But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:1-2
The Minister Of The Gospel: some minister had become mini star and some others major star because of their faithfulness in God’s work. Yet there are minister that have become herbalist by style; the Power of God had left them because of their disobedience, instead of declaring God’s word they prepare concussion. Some ministers have copied wrong things from other ministries, which God did not send them. Sir if God calls you stay-on with him. Many gospel ministers have become liars by exaggerations, prophesying into people’s treasure, saying those things that never exist. Mixing God’s word with lies doesn’t work. The reason people are careful of you and leaving you gradually is because you have turn back from the one that calls you. Read the following scriptures: For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. 2Chronocle 16:9
REMAINING WITH GOD; SUSTAINING YOUR REST
If God be for you who can be against you, you can start practicing the following and your fellowship with God will remain intact, your rest will never be lost. It’s clear to us now that deceit and lies give birth to UNREST. To be free from deceit: Psalm 101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. Because once God reject your person, all things will work against you.
1. Learn to study the Bible yourself and pray to God for interpretations. Bible is easy to read and understand. It is available in almost all languages of the world. Joshua 1:8 saysThis book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
2. Learn to seek God’s face until he shows you the way out Jeremiah 33:3says Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
3. Be a friend of God, Love his house, Love his people and do his work. 1John 2:15-16, Matthew 22:37-38 says Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind…
