Reflection on Philippians 2:25-27
Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants. *For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick. *For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
Whatever good you do to men of God are not in vain, also the service you rendered unto God will speak for you someday. So many (Christians) are in some terrible near to death challenges and yet they are dying with all medical and mutual assistants rendered to them, their ordeal might be link to any or all of the following:
- Contaminated service rendered unto God.
- Eye service and help not rendered willingly from the heart.
- Not truly Saved; faking salvation but partner with the Devil.
- Watching God’s men suffers when they can help out.
- Intentionally ignoring other fellow servants (brethren) in their hard times, even when they have what it takes to help them out.
Your Service ought to speak for you in time of trouble but if your service are impure then needed grace and divine assistants is forfeited as a result of your impure service. Epaphroditus was important to Apostle Paul, how Important are you to those God’s Servants sent your way? Remain Blessed
