I CANNOT MARRY A PASTOR.
This is an opinion of some with difficult past experience, who had witness the other side of life martially. Some of which went through hardship because their parents were clergies. Some ladies have also seen what some pastor’s wife went through which was not what they wish themselves or their siblings.
A woman who love attention may not agree to the proposal of a man of God that have to carry the burden of many under him, and some hate the phrase ‘pastor’s wife’. Some women want to serve God but just in a little way, they don’t want to be that deep, so such will always turn down proposal from men of God. Some kind ladies will blatantly open up to the pastor that she’s not the kind of lady he can marry, her claim for not marrying a Pastor is not of flimsy excuses but deep and to the betterment of the man of God, so if a woman rejects you, it may still be an expression of Love.
We need to note that the awkward behavior of some men of God has also become a stumbling block or blockage to other ministers, such that some shallow thinkers thought that they are all the same. Every woman need to grow and heed divine direction before saying yes or no to a proposal but to be blunt and wickedly says I cannot marry a Pastor, is a statement that one can pay for all life. Matthew 10:40 says He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Yes, if that man is truly called, the grace of God upon him will rob on you and your children, there are things you won’t forever struggle for if you submit to him and serve with him. Yet you are free to go with your opinion which can make you fall off divine order. O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. Jeremiah 10:23 we don’t own ourselves, if you can allow Jesus to take the wheel of your life’s chariot, you won’t miss direction. Once he takes over, your journey to marriage will be error free. No matter how genuine your reasons are, always submit them at the cross. God bless you. Proverbs 16:1-3
