ALLOW GOD TO DO THE FIGHTING
You are welcome to the house of knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Where the light of God shatters your darkness. In the world; if your assailant (be whoever it may be) fall into your hands, you pin him down and destroy him. How many of us will save the life of a man or a woman that failed in killing us after many attempts. Saul was after David’s life, he was pursuing with all his strength to kill David, he cast javelin at him and tried all kinds to waste the life of David, but David kept running and escaping by the leading and help of God. The throne look impossible to David to ascend as the incumbent power was still on seat and those to continue government were still alive. When David had the opportunity to kill King Saul and over throw his government yet David didn’t. For you to get fulfilled in life with integrity, you need to deep yourself into this special edition of Voices From Zion Titled: Allow God To Do The Fighting. I Samuel 26: 7-12.
So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him. *Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time. *And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless? *David said furthermore, As the Lord liveth, the Lord shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish. *The Lord forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the Lord’s anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go. *So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the Lord was fallen upon them. Let’s start by
Those In Power: You have to agree that no man can access the position of authority without God knowing about it. No matter who a ruler is or how he ascended to throne, God still rule in the kingdom of men. Daniel 4: 28-32 Says Daniel 4: 28-32 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. *At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. *The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? *While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. *And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. (Study Romans 13:1-2, and 1Timothy 2:1-3 also) Most of the times the people in ruling position are not as fetish as we think, some of them are purely kept by God. More so God tears kingdoms, God can stop any man from ruling, God can make the head become the tail, and the tail to become the head. Saul allows pride, disobedience, greed and self centeredness to rule his life, and the Lord torn his kingdom. Those in power today should allow God to rule the kingdom through them. Position of power is not to oppress, but to deliver the oppressed, it’s isn’t an opportunity to loot the nation’s treasury but to judiciously use the nation’s treasure for the growth and progress of the nation. The position of power is not to take what is not yours forcefully, remember that Ahab and Jezebel were not free from the blood of Naboth 1King 21:1-20. Some rulers in the bible went against the order of God and pay dearly for it, let’s look at some of them:
- Prophet Eli lost two sons and himself same day and his generation came under curses because he regarded his children more than God. 1 Samuel 4:10-18
- Saul disobey God, very greedy and proud king, he died with his three sons same day 1 Samuel 31:1-13 Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa. *And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi-shua, Saul’s sons.
- Solomon started with God and ended with strange women, his kingdom was corrupted. He started with glory and ended with shame. 1 king 3:3-11 And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. God raised adversary against King Solomon because his heart was departed from God. 1 king 11:1-14 …And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom… Also we need to know that some of the descendant of David that rule did what is right and some followed other gods. Some have a perfect heart toward God while some are not perfect. The book of 1st King, 2nd King and the Chronicles have the whole accounts. I think all in the position of power today should study them.
- Nebuchadnezzar was brought down to beast for seven seasons because of pride. Daniel 4:28-32 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
- King Herod in Act 12:21-24 was eaten up by worms when an Angel of the lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory. Those in power should be very careful in ruling because you don’t own the people; your position is to represent God before the people. Therefore, if the number of orphans, widows, the jobless, the defrauded, the wicked and the likes, should increase in your terrain, you are devilish.
Would Be In Power: There are men and women whose head has been anointed to rule, there are persons like David, and Joseph that have the hand of God upon their lives to rule their world. 1 Samuel 16:1-3. And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. *Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
If you have noticed that your dreams, vision, prophecy and things you were foretold points you for ruling then you cannot be free from writing the earthly examination of strong and terrifying opposition. The enemy will put up a great fight against you but your act, your characteristics, your integrity and faith will determine the kind ruler you will ever become. Most of our today leader missed it when the devil fight them sore. Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place. 1 Samuel 26:25
ALLOW GOD TO DO THE FIGHTING.
David allows God to do the fighting against king Saul because King’s Saul was representing God before the people even though Saul had lost it with God. David didn’t touch him, he respected the anointing. Today some politician are blood thirsting, some children are praying that their parent should die so that they can inherit their properties, some servant are planning to defraud their master and some follower are making more efforts to over throw their leaders. David did not in any way take step to end Saul’s reign and life. Listen!
The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Exodus 14:14
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicle 20:15
- If your vision is godly it will be backed up by God.
- If your dream is of God, it will be fulfilled by God’s involvement.
- If God had ordained you for the throne, He will bring you to the throne.
Right Thing To Do For God To Do The Fighting:
- Remind God in prayers Psalm 139:23-24
- Declare against the enemy: 1 Samuel 26:10
- Follow God and keep the vision: Psalm 23:1-6
Every Christian and every human should seek the good of others. If the people rejected your ruling over them; Allow God, if the enemy hated and planned against your government; Allow God to do the fighting. Jesus Loves You!
