FROM SINGLENESS TO FAMILY:

Marital Life is among the free gift of God(nature); it should not be cried for, it should not be suffered for, it’s just a part of everyone’s life. We should also note that their is no union like that of marriage because all of a sudden two strengths are merge as one and blessings are doubled.infact it is recorded in the bible that God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalm 68:6 Which means as long as you are not a destroyer of homes, you should have yours LORD. This words…he bringeth out those which are bound with chains…  proves to us that the enemy had put some people in marital bondage by curses, enchantment or workings of devilish men and women. That’s why we need to pray and break the chains. Be fore we pray let’s consider the following:

• Don’t pick a devilish person as spouse.
• Don’t pick an indiscipline person as a marital partner (except divine or you candle it)
• Don’t pick someone that will not listen to you, someone hard, concrete and won’t accept correction.
• Don’t pick against the warning of the Holy Spirit.
• Don’t pick someone by pity.
• Don’t pick sugar coated tongue (liar) as spouse, especially if it’s a character.
• Don’t pick someone are lust after

More so every Christian that have a communication line with God should also note that when it comes to marital settlement, God Almighty will still communicate confirmation to you through that same line. Also seek  God for Wisdom. While all of the above are important, we must also note that the following before making our choice known or settling down for marriage:

• Please don’t keep a lady for too long before marriage, otherwise you may lose her.
• Don’t keep a man in suspense, go straight ‘yes or no’ and stand by your word no matter the multitudes of words.
• Don’t use pregnancy to hook a man or a woman so as not to lose him or her. It is an ungodly act.
• Don’t marry or say yes to spiritual dried person in the Christian Faith.
• Don’t marry your teacher, master, promoter, producer, helper that way you may remove god’s hand from your affairs. Except maybe you are led.
• Don’t marry someone because of the assistance he/she renders to you.
• Don’t seek for your spec above God’s choice for your life.
• Don’t be racial or tribal-bias when it comes to seeking God for Life Partner.
• Don’t spiritually tie yourself to someone that may not be divinely ordained for you.

Some major ways God settle his men with their wife is:

1. By Favour:

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. Proverbs 18:22. This mean that to find a woman that will be good to you and totally submit to you, can only be by God’s favour. Only God gives such a woman that will not be sentimental or political in the family, a woman of good heart. These also mean that one of the ways God Almighty reward his faithful sons is to settle them with one of his daughters. The following biblical scenes prove this right. Genesis 41:38-45

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?  *And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:   *Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.   *And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.   *And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;   *And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. *And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.  *And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Joseph receive his wife as a favour package, no struggle, the woman came alongside with other packages. Have you ever wonder how God daze Joseph in One day?. It was great.

 

2. By Labour:

We are in the world where people desire good and great thing without labouring for it, they want it but they don’t want to labour for it, yet the best way to gained a good wife is to labour for her. Having God’s daughters can be as a result of labour in God’s vineyard. The following men got their wife by labour:

• Othniel: Joshua 15:16-17 And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife. *And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
• David: 1Samuel 17:25, 18:27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king’s son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
• Moses: Exodus 2: 16-21 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock. *And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock. *And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day? *And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.  *And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread. *And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

You might through doing exploit in God’s house be rewarded with a good woman. Their are God’s daughter that will do you good all your life. They are not found where the common girls are found. Only God can give them to you.  Serving the Lord can never be in vain, if you can keep to serving your God fruitfully, he will settle you. No matter the strategy you employ in searching for a good woman, can’t be like God adding one to you. Initiate a good marital life for yourself on the basis of serving the Lord faithfully and truthfully.

A Word For The Daughters: Not all daughters can be a gift package, make yourself one. Some packages are explosive and time bomb; no man will appreciate a destructive pack as gift. Yet if you can be your father’s pride, a good man is awaiting you. God bless you!
