I GIVE UNTO YOU POWER
Every child has an inheritance in his father. Fathers gives good things to their children, most good fathers want their children to follow their footsteps and continue their good names(and their good deeds). Most conquerors, winners, stars want their children to be short into the limelight also. No great person want his descendants to be a mean person (nobody) except devilish ones, even the wicked ones want their seed to continue their wickedness that is why some fathers do initiate their children into their cult, some wicked mothers also transfer their witchcraft power to their daughters.
According to the word of God and deep knowledge about humanity, it’s discover that no man owned another, you are just a privileged father, mother, caretaker, trainer but you are not the maker or creator. Almighty the sovereign God is the maker and creator of all; the father of all, for us to know our number one inheritance in our father God and how to collect it this edition of Voices From Zion is written titled: I GIVE UNTO YOU POWER Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
These words came out of Jesus’ mouth unto the seventy disciples. Though Jesus birth was mysterious but he was still born like any other man. Though he had a divine assignment on the earth, he couldn’t start his mission until he went into 40days prayer and fasting and returned in the power of the spirit. Let read it in Luke 4:1-18 which says …And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season. *And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. *And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. *And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. *And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, *The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
From that day his ministries started, he began to preach, to do miracles and bless people in diverse ways. Jesus was mostly found on the mountain praying when he was here on earth and carried some of his team along at times Matthew 17:1-8, Jesus rose from seeking more powers of God to the level of ‘power of God’ by his death on the cross and God committed all judgement into his hands which is rendered thus in John 5:22
- The Name Of The Father: When you opened the eyes of fools that says there is no God and they believed you and believed that God exist then you have brought them unto the father. When you are used by God to make people know that God must be first in all they do and they comply, then you have baptized them into the father. Some are too high minded that if they see God physically, if possible they won’t greet him. Baptizing into the Father is all about showing and bringing people into the knowledge of their For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Jesus came after his resurrection and said …All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. *Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: *Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:18-20.
The assurance of his presence is the heritage of everyone on the go for him. He had commanded you and I to go and teach all nations, baptising them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. What does it mean?
heavenly father God. Never in your life paint God as a wicked father or a task master to people. Let’s together read Psalm14:1-7 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. *The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. *They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. *Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. *There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. *Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge. *Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
He is a Loving Father; he will not destroy the works of his hand and if he does, it must be for a (good) reason.
- The Name Of The Son: If you meet a family man and you don’t know his Children then you don’t really know him. Our heavenly father said that Jesus is his only begotten son and without him(Jesus) you can’t access himself the father. Baptizing into the name of the Son is all about making all men see the reason why they must accept Christ and believed in his name. Baptizing into the name of Jesus connotes bringing people into the Holy one that redeemed them and died for their sin. Preaching Christ and making them see salvation of our Lord Jesus as you witness it. Until someone is totally surrendered unto Christ, cannot experience new birth neither eternal life. Jesus is out here to save, if you don’t received him; you are condemned John 3:16-18. More so Faith in the name of Jesus is believer’s authority above the devil and his cohorts. The name of Jesus grant confident. Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. *This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. *Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
- The Name Of The Holyghost: This require some levels of empowerment. When you are ministering under the influence of the Holy Ghost all evil forces must bow under you. So many out there believed God and are born again but hate to hear the word Holy Ghost; Study the following John 14:16-18, 16:13-14, 2:1-4, Act 10:44-48 to know better. Acts 1:8 says But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Without the Holy Ghost and until you are immersed spiritually into the Holy Ghost you won’t enjoy total freedom and live a life of peace. Shout Holy Ghost seven times!
POWER! Our Heritage In Christ
As you go to propagate the gospel to lighting up the darkness of men; you need power to do it, to continue and to accomplish the work God has given to you. Hello! Preaching, singing, serving, teaching and prophesying without power it’s an effort in futility and foolish exercise. You need power to come on stage and you need power to remain on the stage. You need power to be secured and to secure the stage. As you do the works God sent you, be mindful of the wickedness on your path of destiny hey! You must:
- Tread On Serpent: all those evil women, seducers, accusers of the brethren, persecutors and evil men; tread on them under your feet. Anything that wants to creep silently into your life to wreck you, put up a serious fight against it and destroy them sharp! Sharp!! When you see a snake coming towards you as a hunter, what would you do? Kill It! Elisha was on his way to Bethel when some ‘devil’s’ possessed’ children came mocking, 42 died by the tearing of two she bears read it in 2King 2:23-24
- Tread On Scorpions: There are scorpion humans, they won’t change, and their only mission is to put off when the glory is at its’ best state. They look so harmless but very harmful. They kill faster. They get closer, they move silently and bite. When you notice any scorpion around you tread them to death. Please no mercy for your killers. The power of God kills without shooting a gun just by bold declaration; you have pulled the trigger. The word of God admonishes us in Philippians 1:28. And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. You will surely overcome, some may have vow to destroyed and bring you down but God’s power in you will silence them.
- All Power Of The Enemy: Are not stronger than your feet. Tread them in prayers and by declaring God’s word. You also need to be connected to those that have gone ahead of you in the faith to be free from (some) bondage and win some battles. Some wickedness needs more than only you to conquer.
Their are Idols, oracle and devils that people worship in places; engage the power of God inside of you to silence them. Read Act 17:17-31
Power is given to every Christian to serve God in propagating the gospel. If you want to conquer all evil around you, then go after things that make God happy, turning people from following Satan to God. God’s power is one and grows within the carrier. Surrender to serve.
