There are issues that psychology, medical, philosophy, herbs and other ability of man can’t handle. There are human problems that defile efforts of experts. Their are personal problems that until you receive cleansing power of Jesus, you can’t be free from them. For you and I to come out of our mess, our short coming, our weakness and iniquity this edition of Voices From Zion is written for our rescue and cleansing from dirtiness that is beyond us. It’s simply titled
PURIFICATION FROM DEFILEMENT
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, *Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: *All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Mark 7:21-23
Let’s look into
The Heart: is the factory of your thought. The engine room of your entire system is never on break; always busy and charged with something. The heart is self producing. There are things going on in the heart always. Every man and woman on the earth has capacity to do good or evil which is based on each one’s choices. Your doings, act and reactions will continue to show to people who you are. Concerning the heart of man The Holy Bible says: says And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually… Genesis 6:5-7 God repented (or regretted) over the crown of his creation. The first man failed him and many are still failing him today. Most of the national crisis, family troubles and rebellion in systems are all traceable to one thing; …imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually…The heart of man is not control by God on what to ponder upon or think about, neither is it withdrawn forcefully by God from thinking evil. If the first man and woman had taken away their eyes off from the forbidden fruit, it won’t have been easy for Satan to get them cheaply by deceit. Most of the time, we fall into terrible problems because the devil had seen the direction of our heart. Up until now some are dancing around lying, fornication, stealing though they are not having a bite, the truth is that the Devil would soon push them inside it. You need not to dance around things that will destroy your present joy and glorious future. Your considerations are your choices. Jeremiah 17:9-10 says … the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? *I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Point blank! The mouth might be laughing with you while the heart is laughing at you. The eyes might be looking at you with welcoming face but those same eyes are watching your steps. It’s good to note that your heart (you inside) actually determine who you are. Before God will fix any man into his enviable positions, he will surely try his heart. The story of Saul was a glaring one as he misses it with God from his heart and deeds; God replaced him with young David. The Holy Spirit of God left Saul and he was troubled with the evil spirit. 1 Samuel 16:14. II Chronicle 26:15- 23 read thus Uzziah was made king in the room of his father Amaziah and marvellously helped of God as he sought God in the days of Zechariah the Prophet who had understanding in the visions of God and Uzziah prospered until he became very strong And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. *But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense… Uzziah died a leprous man and was quarantine till death. There is a need to always check your heart less you begin to react against the laws of God. Also in the new testament of the Bible, we could see jealousy, envy and dishonesty practices amidst believers. 2Thesallonians 3:11 says For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
Some people don’t have good heart towards those doing better than them. One Church ministry attacking another, pastors at variance as if they are serving different God. The Bible says Ephesians 4: 29-32 that Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. *And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. *Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: *And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Once you are offended in God, you render yourself helpless. Judas Iscariot had been stealing, that’s the reason Satan could penetrate his heart, he had several opportunity to change his ways but he didn’t because his thought pattern has been attacked, he achieved his aim of 30pieces and died by hanging himself when he realised his errors John 12:4-6 says Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot…Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? *This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Luke 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. When the devil is done with you, he goes to look for another victim. Treat that impure heart of yours. Some men can sell their parents for money; if possible give away their wife and children for money. Lovers of money will someday dip their hands into robbery and killing.
Don’t give the devil a lift into your heart, it will surely be disastrous. Ananiah and Saphirah were not straight forward believers and lost their lives for falsehood. Act 5:1-11. It is always good to note that God takes records of our pledges and vow. So you need to work on your defiled heart because it can bring you shame, backwardness, stagnation and sudden death. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. Jeremiah 7:24

Mark 7:21-23 The Living Bible renders it this way: For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts of lust, theft, murder, adultery, *wanting what belongs to others, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, pride, and all other folly. *All these vile things come from within; they are what pollute you and make you unfit for God.”
God Almighty has made adequate provision for our purification in Christ Jesus. It’s impossible for any man to free himself from defilement without Jesus Christ. In most nations of the world today; law enforcement agency are worse off, some police officers are on drugs, some judges are wicked, some lawyers are perverted, very many looters in government offices, political power wickedness, blood thirsty men and women ruling in several places of the world today. These had weakened the moral strength of most nations, only Jesus can help. Jesus is the purest being that ever walked the earth and he’s the only one that can free any man from defilement; the reason is, his blood, his word and his touch cleanses.
- His Blood: The blood of Jesus delivers from defilement, if you can plead the blood on your heart, you will be free. Hebrew 9:13-14 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: *How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
- His Word: Jesus cleanses us by his word. By the word of God your defiled heart can be made clean. You can receive empowerment to think right by the revelation of God’s word. Your conscience can come back alive and pure by the power of God’s word. Studying and meditating the word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit will get you purified from all forms of defilement. Jesus said Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15:3
- His Touch: Cleanses the leper in Matthew 8:1-3, the woman with 12years issues of blood touched him and the blood flow stopped in Matthew 9:20-22 two blind men eyes were opened by his touch, found in Matthew 9:27-29. Jesus touched Peter’s wife mother and the fever left her and she went in and cook for them written in Matthew 8:14-15
So by the touch of Jesus your impurity and infirmity will leave you today. Jesus still touches people physically today in trances and through his servants, receive that touch now in Jesus name. A defiled heart can be made whole by that touch if you are a Christian fighting defilement, then cry to God for help and registering for a bible training school will be a whole lot of help to you. Under the deluge of the word, your burden will be lifted, darkness will disappear and defilement will be gone. If you yield yourself to the word; you will thank God you did.
