Some might have been confused about our way of doing things which is totally different from the way others are doing them. Some may wonder at our reaction being different from the norm. In fact, some might have thought that we are off our mind doing some certain things. The truth is you won’t really understand us until you gently dip yourself into this edition of Voices From Zion Titled:
THAT’S THE DIFFERENCE
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 1Corinthians 4:6
At the beginning everything was formless and void, darkness was reigning and the whole thing then looks like a project given to someone to do. He started by creating light and other things followed. He created man to rule and oversee things he has created. If God were to be seen as an engineer, foreman, or a builder; he would have been awarded with such an award of excellence that no one else will ever be qualified for, because since the earth has been created, it has remain established and solid. Whenever Construction Company is building on waters, they will sand-fill and cast concrete, but our God founded the earth on waters without casting stones and it stood. The Bible confirmed it in Psalm 24:1-2 which says The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. *For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. It’s obvious from biblical perspective that man was created in the light and placed in the Garden of Eden with dos and don’ts but man did the don’ts and began to live with the consequences. Ever since this occurrence man begin to live in the physical light and darkness but with a darkened heart until Jesus Christ was sent for the rescue man. John 1:6-9 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. *The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. *He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. *That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. One of the major statements of Jesus is found John 8:12 which says Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
So if you can surrender your Life to Jesus Christ and be redeemed, you will not walk in darkness anymore, it’s also good to note that until you become born again by accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and personal saviour, you won’t even know that you are in darkness. And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. *And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? *Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him…When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, *And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
This man has never seen the light, he had lived forty years in darkness, he knew no colour neither did he know beauty. He has never seen but when he encountered Jesus Christ he began to see how beautiful the world he has been living in is, many have been living in darkness too, the real thing that belongs to them are hidden from them. Yours is peace, wisdom, abundance, health and every good thing of Life but you need Jesus to see.
Nature Of Darkness: It’s absolute black out, submerging and confusing and yet suggesting dark way out which will end in total destruction. Darkness is the nature of the evil one; his word and act deepens in darkness. The chief priest of darkness is the Devil. John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Until you give your life to Christ no way out, remember the whole world is in darkness Psalm 74:20.
The Forms Of Darkness: The Bible records in Revelation 12: 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The devil has taken several forms as he has entered almost every sphere of life with his lies. You will find his finger almost in every endeavour and vocations, business and governments, even in marriages. In some places demonic Ideas are practically enthroned because the deceiver is at work. Have you heard of any of the following?
- Business without buying and selling, no investing and no substantial services rendered but money flow.
- Contract Marriage.
- Abortion of pregnancy, Homosexual, lesbianism and Gay Marriage approved
- Government wanting to control church services.
And so many other forms of darkness you can think of. Satanic lies drag into perdition and get lives destroyed to rotten in hell. There are reigning of occult powers and gruesome wickedness in several places on the earth today, all by the lies of the evil one. Yet it seems some of us are different and are not taken by demonic wiles. Yet on these earth, there are set of people that are never confused, never taken down in evil act, they are always on top of their game (world) and light in the midst of many others. There are people living differently from world sinful standard. You might be forced to ask why or how?
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Yes! It is the same God that created light in the midst of darkness that shined in our hearts. He God of the whole universe delivered us from darkness and brings us into freedom uncommon. Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Here on the other side we enjoy our marriage, children and we don’t struggle in our businesses. We get fulfilled in all our endeavours, we may not have all the money but we are content as all our needs are met in Christ Jesus. We are inviting you again, because it is sweet on this side. As ambassador of Jesus Christ, everything is working for our good as we propagate his course here on earth awaiting his return to take us back home with him. If you reject salvation then no other way to reign with Christ. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BELIEVERS:
Yes! It’s obvious to know that what you yield to, will show on you. Some Christians are not fully manifesting the riches of redemption bought for them by the precious blood of Jesus. So between a struggling student and a rejoicing student in the examination hall is adequate knowledge. If you will not seek for knowledge and God’s way out of every matter, you will even suffer like an infidel. The blood of Jesus had purchased for you all things to make life sweet and fulfilling for you but if you refused his way out, you will remain deprived. The Bible in Revelation 7:14 says And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Christ’s blood that washes away your stains also brings you into other good thing you can find in the light. Every child of God should know that our Saviour has it all, but you need knowledge for access. You can die poor, wallowing in sickness, live an unfulfilled Life until you find knowledge of Christ about your need. The Bible recorded more of the teachings of Jesus Christ than the miracles he did. Remain ever blessed. Jesus Christ Love You.
