THE PATH OF GOD.
One of those things Jesus did for us through salvation is to redirect us back to the path of God. There is always a God’s path to deal with every challenge of life. There is God’s path to tackle life situation. There is what God will have you do to come out of timely challenges though there are very many principles, techniques and other pathway to short time inferior answers yet on this edition of Voices From Zion. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. *This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. *For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. *But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:13-17
As we journey, let’s define terms:
Who is a child of God?: Firstly you must note that God is not limited to human realm that gets married or engage in sexual intercourse to have children. God that made us male and female have all the capacity to reproduce himself and all by himself. God spoke from heaven, he said And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. and John 1:12 also says But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
So becoming a child of God takes the power of salvation. Only those that have surrendered to Lord Jesus and received him can be called children of God.
What Is Bitter Envying? This is deadly thought leading to ill action which could lead to termination of lives or taking over the inheritances of a succeeding person.
What Is Strife: It is an act of not being comfortable with the good reports and success of others especially those you consider not fit enough.
What Is Wisdom: Putting knowledge (whether good or evil) to work.
The Path of God: to tackle life challenges have nothing to do with sin because sin is never a way out of bondage but a broad way into everlasting, lifetime chains. Therefore if your actions, words and reactions to issues around are born out of envying and strife, or even bitter envying then you have left God’s path. You will never find any child of God that wants to run his neighbour down because the seed of God is in him. 1John 3:9 Once you surrender your life to Christ, your realm changes as you will begin to possess Holy Spirit inspired skills. Children of God should be the best; you can find anywhere on earth and in every field of human endeavour. They should be blessing to our world and that’s the way God made it. Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: *And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Matthew 5:13-14 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. * Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
We Christians are blessing not a curse, we are light, not darkness, we are salt, we are not tasteless, the most needed and the most respected you can ever find on the surface earth. If any child of God is less than these, such should be questioned. Today we have …bitter envying and strife… even among believers to the point of …confusion and every evil work… you can think of. What is happening?
The Problem: Our first challenge is
- Inadequate Knowledge Of God: Their is a need for every believer to seek God more because the devil kept on bringing out new techniques to bring many down. If your knowledge base of God isn’t wide enough, you might start to walk in error and not know. There are church men and women that prays out of strife, envy and bitterness. Some even sing songs to confirm the bitter state of their heart. The following scriptures will be a great blessings to you: Hosea 4:6-7 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. *As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
The truth is, without continuous spiritual (bible) knowledge, it will be very easy for the devil to drag you into perdition.
- The World Around Us: Always remind yourself 1John 2:15-16 because what Almighty God rejects is actually the instruments the world uses to achieve their aim. If they want to rise, they look for someone or system to run down or destroy with their evil inventions. Some church goers are more of the world than God, which has made them ordinary church services attendees and not real Christians. The exploit of some Christians are born out of quality time they spent with God’s word, in prayers and in faithfully serving God Almighty, you can be like that too. Receive grace to walk with God in Jesus name. You need to note that worldliness and ungodliness will reduce your authority as a believer and trash your heavenly treasure! in no time, you will become emptied of Holy Spirit’s enablement and become a mean man. Proverbs 21:16 says The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead .Jesus said They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. John 17:16 If you are truly born again and have Jesus Christ in you, ungodliness won’t suite you, you will always react against iniquity. Their are so many reasons why you will find Christians fighting and lobbying for unrighteous mammon, earthly position and joining evil gang to destroy but let’s return back to
- The Path of God: God’s path is void of confusion and every evil work because he leads you through his wisdom, to this effect let’s look at the
Wisdom Of The World: is self created or imposed on us when we are drawn to perdition which is sensual, earthly and devilish. Sensual in the sense that when you sense the promotion, progress and breakthrough of others, you will want to bring them down or have a terrible ill thought towards them. Secondly earthly wisdom is such a wisdom you engage to acquire things on the earth by all means with no respect to human lives. This kind of wisdom is what most politician and wicked leaders uses today.
Earthly wisdom is foolishness in disguise because after you have acquired all you can, you will die and leave them behind and face hell, not to talk of the insecurity, insomnia and lack of peace you will have suffered while on earth. What a waste of energy. Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Finally the worse of it is
Devilish Wisdom: this simply engaging diabolical powers or fetish powers to get things done. Necromancer, witchcraft and occult abilities are worse of kind of wisdom because it will make you lose to the devil and make some satanic agent. Whenever you fail with your devilish wisdom, then it returns back to destroy you, which is the reason men and women from lineage ruled by dark powers fight unseen battles.
WISDOM FROM ABOVE: God kind of wisdom is divine in nature and rules above other kind of wisdom and abilities. Nothing compares to it in value …But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. It carries hero making virtues. With this wisdom from above you will be a voice to be listened to. It is such a wisdom that makes your hater to later bow to you. Only those that have the wisdom from above, can fulfil Isaiah 58:12 which says
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
The Path of God: God is never unholy neither does he need you to fall into sin to get fulfiled in life. Psalm 145:17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. May be the reason things have not been going on well with you is because you have stepped out of God’s path (wisdom) to the path of the world and you have been messed up overtime. Jesus is staging a comeback for you.
