You are welcome into an uncommon safety program. This program is set up by God himself to enhance your safety, deliverance from chaos and total settlement in life. It’s good to note that God had not created men on earth to suffer or live their life totally immersed in an unpalatable situations. You are made to shine, to live well, grow old in peace not in pieces, in creativity not insanity, in blessedness not in curses. You are made to go through life without horrible story to tell. Today as you stay focused on this life changing program, simply titled Total Safety contained in this edition of Voices from Zion: Isaiah 54:14 you will begin to tell a good story.
In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
TOTAL SAFETY
Total Safety: is it possible? Firstly, it’s good to note that total safety simply means absolutely secured, protection guaranteed, goodness and mercy sustained, and it could also refer to living life that cannot be affected by evil attack. Yet is it possible: The following scriptures has the answers;
Zechariah 2:5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. God can fence your life and properties with fire to keep the wicked away from you, this was the testimony of Satan about Job; And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? *Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? *Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. Job 1:8. The reason behind the safety of Job was the hedge of God that surrounds him and all that he had. Job was totally secured until God allowed Satan. He wasn’t secure because of his security men but God’s presence. So if God doesn’t enhance your protection, no man or gadget can protect you. We are in the age where people live their life in fear daily; you might have noticed any of the following: ·
- Some cannot go (travel) to far places without phone, or putting some security gadgets in place to enhance their safety.
- The spiritual ones won’t leave their home casually without chanting some incantation, using some spiritual enhancement, or using the power of divination to determine their journey.
- When there is a blast or a sudden gunshot, people run helter-skelter.
- People are more protective in this generation that they hardly believe or trust anyone else.
- Some are ready to kill even their parent for safety.
Many wants to live long but they do things that shortens their life (unknowingly), but in Job’s case, he was surrounded and guided by God
Exodus 13:21-22, 14:19-20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. *And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: *He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: *And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
Only God can do that! At times, children of God may be pursued by horrible enemies or situation but just as God protected the children of Israel by the pillar of the cloud for divine presence and guide, also set pillar of fire to give them light at night (24 hours electricity supply), so also can God do for his people. So no matter how bad your pursuers are, safety is guaranteed in God when going on the course he has channeled for each one. Maybe you have also noticed any of the following about God’s people and even gospel ministers.
- Some great evangelists and pastors cannot do without convoy of soldiers been protected by guns.
- Some people of God surrounded their house with breed of dogs for protection.
- Some Christians are very protective even in church service, if some hear any unknown noise, they may run out of the church building.
- Some church people believe more in anointing oil, holy water, concoction and placing cross at their door entrance for protection, while it may not be wrong but it’s better to be conscious of God’s presence around us. The psalmist says: The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? *When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. *Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident… Psalm 27:1-5 it’s also good to purify our heart from the evils happening around us, do not let what even killed fellow Christian to threaten you. The lost of one does not prove the incapacity of God to protect all the living. God knows us all. Exodus 23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. This awesome verse in the holy scripture simply opens the eyes of all God’s servants to the provision God had made for each one. An angel has been assigned to keep each one child of God and bring him or her to the prepared place. So, God almighty had made adequate provision for our total safety. The word of God in Psalms 74:20 says: Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. Dark places means being outside salvation. If you are not saved you cannot be safe. God’s children have angels to minister unto them but the unsaved have no ministering spirit: Hebrew 1:13-14 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? *Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Psalms 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
The angelic protection around every child of God keeps the Devil and his cohorts away. But maybe you might have noticed any of the following:
- People, even Christians, starting a program and not getting to the end of it, Suffering abortion of projects.
- Some women, even Christians, suffer miscarriages.
- Abandoning building project, vision and suffering retrogression in life.
People face battle without assurance of winning or coming out victorious, all these have their root in not knowing the Angels sent ahead of you or turning away from such. Here again God is presenting to you;
In righteousness shalt thou be established:… that means you will continue to suffer unrest and be unestablished until you become righteous. Righteousness establishes. The reason why many are suffering the collapse of things they set up for themselves is because of unrighteousness. You can’t pull others down to go up, you can’t defraud and sustain greatness, righteousness is in two format and both are important;
- Practical Righteousness: you must be righteous in your dealings. You must be trustworthy otherwise your fear and anxiety will multiply. What is the essence of wealth without health? If you are not practicing righteousness, you won’t fare well in life. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1John 3:7
- Righteousness of God: What happens is that if you give your life to Jesus Christ, then he takes off your cloak of unrighteousness, giving you power to practice righteousness. The sin nature makes it impossible for any man to be righteous totally, if you will surrender to his lordship, you will assume your new status; The righteousness of God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
…thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. If one knew how rich the virtue of righteousness, is you will give in your best into it. You need to do explorative study on practical righteousness and put on the good new man, Jesus Christ to enjoy total safety. Till we come your way again keep hearing from Voices from Zion.
