TURNAROUND
You are welcome to the presence of God, the end point of all calamities, the starting up of fresh life. I am glad to let you know that you matter to God and you shall not die without having good story to tell. Your experiences might have been bitter overtime and you may have pushed until you become tired. You have engaged all known strategies, principles and take known right steps but you still remain bound, stagnated and distressed. Thank God for coming on this edition of Voices from Zion where God will be giving you a TURNAROUND today
Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. Zephaniah 3:19
TURNAROUND: A word so sweet to say, so hard to experience without God. A word so soothing but so far fetched as you may not know your due time for turnaround. The word of God in Zephaniah 3:19 is a verdict for all those that requires a turnaround in any department of their life. Yet we must dig into when and how God Almighty will turn our situation around.
Behold, at that time… when the battle is very tough for you, when you are between life and death, when all hope in humans are lost, when your strength fails you. When you couldn’t help yourself anymore at that very time, God of turnaround will step in. At that very time Haman was breathing cruelty against the Jews and Mordecai, God overturn the battle on the enemy Esther 3:5-6, 7:9-10 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath. *And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai… And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.* So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified. Only God can heal a man or woman (boy or girl) when the doctors (herbal and medical doctors) gives up on him. There are cases that the advance technology of our days couldn’t help out but we serve a God of turnaround. It also occur in the book of the Act of the Apostles that at that time that king Herod wanted to slaughter Peter was when God of turnaround dashed in and set him free gallantly Act 12:1-24. The same blood thirsty Herod was moved against God by the spirit of pride and he died a special death; he was eaten up by worms. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. God of turnaround can interchange the man in the prison, put the captors in prison and bring out the captive. He’s the God of the whole earth. Also at that very time that the children of Israel sighed and suffered, God of turnaround stepped in by remembering them. What Egypt suffered in few days when God waded in was more than the four hundred and thirty years affliction of the Israelite in Egypt. In fact He also pay them with the wealth of Egypt which means that the Israelites collected economic power of the Egyptians, they spoil them And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; *And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites… Exodus 3:7-9, God of turnarounds setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Psalm 68:6 so we should know that God is not asleep and we need not to shift ground at the tough point of battle he’s right on hand. No matter how bad the situation of any man is, God can still turn things around for you. What must we continue to do to experience a turnaround?
- Hold On To God: Many instead of holding on to God. They held on to their situation. There is a need for you to shift your gaze to God. Look up to God for help. At the worse battle of Job, he remains tied to God. Bible recorded that Job sin not in his affliction, because when one insults and turn back from his helper; such won’t be helped. Job 1: 21-22 Most Christian men on earth today complain and murmur at a slight of affliction. If the darts of the wicked checks out on you: you may not survive it. This should be your song Psalm 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. *My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. *He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. *Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. *The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. *The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. *The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. *The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
- Believe In God’s Time: Time is important because most time the delay is to his glory. When you are in battle, hold unto God until he does it in his own beautiful time. We can’t dictate for God all the time, he will do it at his own time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. The issue of God’s time has to do with faith. Hebrew 11:1 Faith is getting to a point you know that God has taken over. Faith is God in charge and you take your rest. If your faith holds it, it won’t fail. If your faith keeps it, it won’t die, if your faith says yes God will honour it if it’s his will. God’s time also have to do with patience Hebrew 10:35-36 be patient, God has not forgotten you. To the barren, unmarried, chained, abandoned, stagnated and the sick God has not forgotten you. Your turnaround is today in Jesus name.
- Turn Everything Around: Our God is not a God that saves in part. He saves in whole; He means to say I will turn everything around. and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. God has the power to solve all your problems at once. He heals from all sicknesses at once not in parts. He’s the God of turnaround. He’s coming in to turn all your situations around all at once. So don’t limit him, don’t stand his way because he can get rid of your afflictions, blesses you and cause you to finish your abandoned project. Job was restored wholesomely Job 42:10-16 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. *Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. *So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. *He had also seven sons and three daughters. *And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch. *And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. *After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.
