WHEN GOD SAYS IT
Some saints, Christian, men and women that fears God had moved God to sworn a verdict of favour upon their generation by their good deeds, serving humanity or serving the Lord selflessly. On the other side of the coin some wicked fathers and witchcraft mothers had committed some evil into the account of their generation by their wicked act. It is good to note today that anything you do today goes ahead of you to affect your generation. Fighting the enemies are cheap battles but fighting generational curses are great battles. In order for you to switch from evil that might have been committed into your account by your ancestors (forefathers) which is the major blockage in your life, today this edition of Voices From Zion is written titled
WHEN GOD SAYS IT
And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying, 1 Kings 8:15
When God Says It: then it is a done deal, it is a settled case, why? Because he says it! What happens when God says it, this question will be answered using Biblical Characters.
1. Abraham: In Genesis 12:1-3God ordered Abraham out of his country and from his kindred to make him great at the age of 75. In Genesis 22:15-18 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, *And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: *That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; *And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
God did exactly as he had said. Abraham obeyed God and received generational blessings upon his seed; today Israel is a strong nation with an infallible footprint everywhere they dwell-in, and almost in all human endeavours. Abraham provoked it. The greatness and the outcome of your Children tomorrow can be provoked or give birth to by your deed today.
2. KING DAVID: in 1King 8:15-24, God did as he had promised David, because he lived his life for others to live. He fought all the way and won all the battles. His son had no war to fight because David had fought almost everything. You can win the enemies of your children before they ever rise against them, be a good father, a Loving mother. In the greatness and peace of your children therein is your peace. Read 1King 11:24-43, 1King 15:11 says And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father. years after David had gone, God kept the covenant sworn unto him, many at times he would have slay and destroy all his descendants but he will say ‘For my servant David sake’ and spare them.
3. JOB: Job 1:7-22 …And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. *And there was a day…The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. *While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. *While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: *And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee…wicked devil! but because God had said Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. God allow Satan to take away all that Job had but to safe Job’s life. God knows the capacity and level of Job’s faith. God knew he God is the uppermost in Job’s heart. It’s recorded that In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Yes! He sin not. You need to come to a level that at your worse battle you will be smiling. If you are truly serving the Lord and you know it, keep on serving even if you loose all; don’t lose God. In Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. God change the story of Job. His latter life was sweeter than the former. The enemy is always looking for ways into people’s life. From the above listed blessed saints, we saw how God watch over his word, but time (and this column)will not permit to list all that carried curses from God and their ancestors to their generation save these few ones:
Cain: in Genesis 4:5-12 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell…Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. *And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? *And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. *And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; *When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. God cursed Cain! The person of Cain was cursed because of what he did to his brother Abel, ask most touts, fugitives and vagabonds today, why are they living their life the way they are living it, from their report you will discover that most of them had committed almost the same sin Cain committed. Whenever you allow bitterness, envy, killings (in your life) it means you are in Cain generation. Uproot yourself from them, no future for the fugitive and no inheritance for the Vagabond.
PHARAOH: Exodus 12:12-14 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. *And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt... God did it! They moved God to their destruction. Any time you keep God’s properties unreleased for his use, is to your own halt. Don’t sit on God’s people! Pharaoh sat on God’s people and God brought them out by his wrought, signs and wonders. I decree almighty God will bring you out of every house of slavery in Jesus name.
Eli 1Samuel 2:27-33…Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house? *And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel? *Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people? *Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed…all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age. Eli the prophet of God through his attitude towards his children lost out in the priesthood. If you are an ‘I don’t care’ type of father, if God had chosen your family to produce two presidents or national heroes, he will avert it. Eli failed as a father and he fall out of God’s Covenant. Say no when necessary and yes! emphatically when necessary. Eli forfeited the covenant of God for his generation.
WHEN GOD SAYS IT
I’m glad to welcome you into this timely once in a life time solution. May be your forefathers hasn’t laid a good foundation for you, may be evil has been committed into your account, you might be tagged vagabond or fugitive , some one is calling you to make things better and life beautiful for you. He’s name is JESUS. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. God can be your father from today you can come under the blessing of Abraham Galatins 3:13-14 by accepting Jesus now. What God will say to you, is provoked by you and most times by your father’s deed. You need to learn how to procure God’s favour. The known ways of provoking God’s blessings are Serving God and Serving Humanity 1King 8:15, God says it and does it, read this scripture and be baptize into a sworn blessings of God 1 Kings 8:15-24
