What is life: in the book of Genesis 2:6-7 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. *And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. We could deduct that life is what makes a man a living soul,́́ without the breathe of God no man will live. What gives value to the physical structure of any man (or woman) is the breathe of God. Life is what makes us live (a living soul). Also we need to know that Life at the beginning of creation is pure and supernatural but now the limitless part of life needed to be climb up to. Note these:
1. In the breathe of God Adam became a living soul and could do everything without any man teaching him, let’s see some of the feats Adam performed in these scriptures: Genesis 2:15-25 …And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him… And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. *And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Adam have the same spirit at work in God, he was another god under God on the earth. He did everything as God almighty would have done them, he was the crown of God’s creation, the breathe of God makes all his intellectual capacity extraordinary, and could operate in the supernatural at will, but when Adam fell by disobedience the life God gave him lost value, virtues, and the most wised man on earth began to behave as a fool and run away from predators that were one’s his pets, couldn’t dear the river anymore because of fishes that could swallow him. Though he wasn’t physically dead but the God content of his life was gone, what he had left was living but virtues of life left him. Aftermath death and sickness sets in, you can read all these and more in the book Genesis 3:1-24
2. All the generation of man until Christ came were all fallen men, though few of them encounter his majesty in the Old Testament by their choice and divine selection. The virtues that left Adam was not restored until Jesus came.
The birth and accomplishing ministry of Jesus Christ gave us access to another kind of life which is referred to as eternal life. Let’s listen to him in John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. he brought abundant life, in another word a life that is full of abundance of virtues, full of many good things, but here is the way into it John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. So until you have Christ you don’t have eternal life. Let’s see the difference between eternal life and ordinary human life;

This and more are the differences in between eternal life and merely existing. Eternal life is not a product of any level of exposure or education; it’s a product of Salvation. You will end your journey in hell after death without Christ, surely there is life after death, eternal damnation awaiting those who refused him John 3:18 says He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Unending splendour await saints. Amen. If you want to surrender your life to Christ, simply pray this prayer with all sincerity of heart. Say:
Lord Jesus, i receive you today, as my Lord and saviour, forgive me my sins, accept me in your kingdom, and empower me to live for your kingdom sake all the days of my life.
ALL YOU CAN GET IN JESUS
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 2 Peter 1:3
Life in the above scripture refers to the life of God (eternal life) and just as God gave Adam law, godliness will also keep us in the garden of our splendour. The scripture are full of virtues that pertains to life and godliness. Let’s see few of them:
- Fulfilled Years: Isaiah 65:17-20
- Total (Divine) Health: Isaiah 53:4-5
- Fruitfulness: Genesis 1:28, Psalm 128:3
- Peace: John 14:27
- Prosperity: 2 Corinthians 8:9, 3 John:2
Every good thing is found in eternal life, this whole column cannot contain all the benefits and gains of eternal life and godly living. Salvation is the ticket to real life; godliness is the strength of that eternal life. The more godly you are the better your life becomes. Get addicted to obeying God’s word, worshipping in God’s house and broadcasting his deeds among men, that way, you will come into the level of no lack, and you will become a better person. Receive this Voices From Zion today; your destiny shall not crash. All you can get in Jesus Christ are loaded into eternal life and godliness but through
KNOWLEDGE
Without the knowledge of Jesus, and what God offered; you cannot access the blessings in eternal life and godly living. It’s possible to be godly and be sickly, you can be saved and suffer poverty. You can even suffer worse than infidel if you are not addicted to the knowledge of God offered you freely.
The Bible is the main gateway to knowing God Almighty which is open to all. Only the Bible can show you who God really is and the acts of Jesus and his Apostles. No matter the books you have read, until you commit yourself to Bible study with the help of the Holy Spirit, you aren’t knew anything yet. Also there are gospel books, bulletin, and audio/video messages from proven churches and Holyghost inspired authors/Gospel Preachers to widen your knowledge of God and helps to access depth but beware of story teller and history expounder. The word of God has all the power you need to become what you see in it. Jeremiah 1:11-12. So what you see is what you get, let’s read 2 Peter 1:3 again.
