You are welcome into the court of the most high where doubt is dissolved, pains are destroyed, where shame vanished as if they never exist. It’s so obvious that there are argument about miracles worldwide, some believed in miracles some don’t, some sees it as magic of men when few others sees it as the finger of God, many had misinterpreted miracles as diabolic and occult operations to change the faith or gathers followers. Their are all kinds of misconceptions about miracles worldwide. On this basis to destroy all doubts about the workings of God. This edition of Voices From Zion is written Titled: BELIEVE THE WORKS
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. *But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 10:37-38
Truly in the world of today; it may seems as if their are no more true worshipers; prophets, real God’s servant and messengers but yet God had his men in every nation of the world. It’s recorded in 1King 19:12-18 that …And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? *And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. *And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus…Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
All generations of humans has their definite God sent to them. Now! The question is how ‘shall we know the true Man of God; yet there are many biblical facts about this:
1. The true man of God speaks to the people what God has told him not what he feels Deuteronomy 18:21-22 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. One major way to know a true man of God is that they are God’s mouth piece. *When Moses was face to face with the red sea, he refused to speak what he feels about the situation
Exodus 14:13-16 says And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. *The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. *And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: *But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
Can you see that? True prophets are God’s agents of breakthrough, no matter how worse the case (may be).
*Joshua the prophet of God brought the wall of Jericho down by the command of God in Joshua 6:1-20 which says …So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
*Samuel the Prophet of God received divine appearance in Shiloh, 1Samuel 3:21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
·Elijah prove the power of his God by calling down fire from heaven. 1King 18:19-39 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. *Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And many other prophets and men of God in the Bible proved the presence of almighty in their lives. It’s good to note that the highest position any Christian can attain spiritually is being a Prophet. You may have the gift of prophecy but Prophet are separated unto God like Moses, Samuel and very many others. It isn’t a spiritual growth matter; Prophets are actually separated and determined by God. You must have being separated in to it, even Paul the Apostle says in Galatians 1:15 that But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb , and called me by his grace,
God said to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5 that Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. The attributes of the prophets of old shows that they are God’s mouth piece, an agent of breakthrough, and the one that channels the way forward. Bible also have records of prophets that lied, indebted and mislead. You shall not be misled in Jesus name. Read 1King 13: 1-30 Until we received a Prophet as prophet we may not be a beneficiary of what they carries (their virtue). Matthew 10:40-41He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. *He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. Every prophet (and every man of God) bares special message to those he’s sent to. The good news is that Jesus is sent to all generations. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus came for the rescue of mankind in all their generations. Jesus never makes mistakes, the holy one is higher than any Prophet, he is called The CHRIST! He saves and safe, he blesses and keeps.
THE WORKS OF JESUS
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost
Only those that are working can use the word ‘finish’ because you can’t finish what you have not started. In Matthew 1:21 Jesus came to save. Matthew 4:19 Jesus came to make us his disciple. The two points above are the works of Jesus, unlike the time of the prophet of old. Only Jesus save and without him no heaven in view.
Without Jesus you can not be a disciple; follower of God and you can’t relate with God either. The coming of Jesus to the earth bring man in union with the almighty God; which means if you are not born again, if you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, you are alone! The only friend that never fails in hot battle of life is Jesus. I commit you into the hand of Jesus today, that your life will never continue in sin. Receive a new life in Christ in Jesus name!. Don’t stop at receiving him but stretch to follow him daily in all your journey on the earth. Do you know something?

1.Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Yes! The scripture above stated the works of Jesus; truly without him you are not safe. I pray for you that almighty God will open your eyes to see your inheritances in Christ in Jesus name. Apostle Peter shouted in Act 10:38 saying How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
BELIEVE THE WORKS
Once a Christian: If you are once a Christian and you left because of what some brethren had done to you, may be in the Church you belong. Remember they are not the Christ; men may offend you but learn how to maintain your worship of God personally in the congregation. Judging with the happenings in your life now, you must return back to Christ(and to the assemblies of saints; church).
Once A Miracle Seeker: May be you have believed God for a particular miracle for years and it’s like, it won’t happen. May be you have turned after other ways of answer. Please note that may be your trust has been in man or you have not been a true servant worshiping God. Those that go to Church at will and do whatever they like in the Church have no inheritance with him. Until you humble yourself, you may not see his finger in your affairs. More so read 2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
Once a Minister: May be you have been insulted and persecuted for your ministering on the altars or ministering to people and you have stopped. Ah! No. Please start again. Hello sir, if you are ministering to the needs of people, you need to do it with wisdom and you are to submit your ministration to any assembly wherever you minister except God had called you to stand alone. Every minister must know that wisdom is required in working for the Lord. Do not allow persecutions to turn you to Emergency Pastor. Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. Be Wise!
