Don't Deceive Yourself

Each time we (humans) think we have arrived; that is even when we actually need more grace to forge ahead and break forth all hurdles before us. Many are living in limited realms which they see as unlimited realm of life, some thought they are on top not knowing they are in the valley. So many are living a valley life thinking they are on top of the mountain. Some discovered too late that they are in the valley and have wasted many years they are supposed to have invested. Praise the Lord. You are right here to learn and contact greater grace to leave the valley to the mountain top, to move from the good to the best and from the best to excellent. For us to always see where we are as a stepping stone to a higher level this edition of Voices From Zion is written titled:  Self Deceit

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  *I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:17-18.

Some of the causes of SELF DECEIT are

Short Sightedness: (or lack of foresightedness)So many people (even Christians) are suffering from short sightedness without knowing. You have to know today that what took root in your heart determine what kind of fruit it bears. If all you can think is getting one or two properties having children and living well 'you may not pass that level. Some level of riches is poverty to some other individuals in some other places of the earth. You may see where you are now as the best if you are short sighted about tomorrow, if you lack adequate knowledge about what is ahead. If you are lazy or idle or won't take new steps, if you are over satisfy with your present level. The end result of short sightedness are many, some of them are seeing many things undone, seeing unattainable level, seeing wasted years behind, shame and reproach, let's take some words of wisdom from the Bible that is relevant to what we are saying. Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.  Genesis 13:14-17 And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:  *For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. *And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.  *Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. From the above scriptures you can receive grace to move further in life, receive divine power to conquer, receive grace to destroy all Satanic object standing on your way.

Total Conclusion: When you have concluded in your heart, it's just like you have made up your mind on a certain issue, and you have said to yourself, here I have come. Please note that when you get there, there is still another there. When you arrive, there is still places you have not gone into. To Christian 'your conclusion is powerful, instructive and may stayed the hand of God from reaching you. God has a line of supply for everyone of his child, when you conclude and say it's enough then his hand will stayed you at that level. Many will never get to the level of becoming billionaire because they have concluded to remain as a millionaire. Some people are fond of thinking fast and picking whatever appears on their mind as the answer at the moment which may be very dangerous. Let's learn from the following scriptures 1Samuel 16:6-7 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord's anointed is before him.  *But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

The end result of wrong conclusion is stagnation and may later result in death or kills instantly. Some Christians had concluded about their place of worship and end up in spiritual death-separation from God. Wait on the Lord, before you conclude.

Not Seeing Yourself As a Blessing: This can also be the reason why people don't grow from where they are to higher level. This is best answered with the scriptures. Genesis 12:2-3 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: *And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Deuteronomy 28:11-13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: Halleluiah. God wants you above only, the only way to forge ahead is to think deep and place a check on your life to see how to forge ahead again. Also think deep and check your lives with God's word to see where you have missed it.

YOU KNEW NOTHING?

Yes! Until you possess the spirit of doing better than what you are doing, hello! You knew nothing in this ‘press button once and get result jet age’; where almost all things are computerized. You must strive to go  forward in anything you are engaged in. Things got obsolete within months of production these days. Less your future be thwarted and you fall from your exalted seat, please move when necessary. Jesus Loves you. The Church in Laodicea thought they were...rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; but ...knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

This also is the same with many children of God and that's why we all have to be careful of SELF DECEIT

DON’T DECEIVE YOURSELF

Be true to self; don't cover up with words because your hidden secret will soon be made opened. My dear be open to yourself, to God and to fellow brethren, in such that if you are suffering from a particular thing, be open about it , so that people can come to your aid. Help is for those that ask for it. Please request then it shall be granted. If you are suffering from hidden sin, prayerlessness, poverty and the likes, open up and you will receive help. In Luke 18:1-8 by the continual coming of the widow to report, she was avenged by the unjust judge that fears not God. Almighty father will avenge you today in Jesus name. Amen!

God’s Counsel

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich;... buy materials or listen to those that have pass through this poverty and comes out of it. Same way you will come out. Buy or acquire the knowledge that you need to move forward from lack to abundance most time you have to release what you have in the right way to get or gain what you need. You have to invest into the future you desire.

...and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;... This proves to us that unrighteousness, unfaithfulness, sin network to nakedness. If you are dubious in your dealings , you will be clothed with shame and what you thought people don't know about you will be revealed. Get clothed with righteousness, be faithful and straight in your dealings and your shame and nakedness shall not been seen anymore. Righteousness' is the cure for nakedness and shame. Get out of that sin otherwise you will experience doom and get destroyed in it.

...and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Pray unto God until greater things ahead is revealed to you. You can see from where you are farther away. God is always willing to show. Release your self to the Holy Spirit; allow the Spirit of the living God to penetrate your heart until your situation changed. You need to possess that never get satisfied attitude,  eyes that never get carried away with the good but seeking for the best. The day you get satisfy with what you have, you may be tempted not to go further but if you are anointed with eyesalve you will always see what you are yet to achieve. Amen!
