EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF HIS POWER
Yes! God is about to do something in your life, only the finger of God can search out treasure out of darkness, only God’s power can bring the dead back to the streets alive, only God can do what man can not do. Yes! That God is here with you to do the highly impossible things for you today. How will you believe? if you were told that your daughter that got lost over ten years ago will be found. How will you believe? that your insane son will be healed supernaturally today. How would you believe? That you will excel in the same Exam you had failed severally? For you to believe in God’s instantaneous manifestation as he manifest himself to you today. This edition of Voices From Zion written titled: EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF HIS POWER Ephesians 1: 19-23
We have been hearing and reading about God’s power but what about …the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, the exceeding greatness of his power can only be wrought in the lives of believers; who had surrender their live to Christ and ready to live for him all their days exceeding greatness of his power is such that transcend eternity and takes you on not for a life time but beyond a lifetime, into eternity.
The exceeding greatness of his power is such that can not be compete with, no devil can near it, it’s power as the sun. The powers that heals and delivers within a seconds of clock, faster in delivery and faster than the blinks of an eye. The exceeding greatness of his power converts and changes situation from worse to best in unknown but undeniable way. God’s power can heal and deliver but the exceeding greatness of his power can take believers beyond sickness and oppression. That exceeding greatness of his power will change your situation today as you claim the following prophecies; · Almighty God will bring the best out of you today in Jesus name. ·Every devices of the devil against your advancement is totally destroyed today in Jesus name. ·Your age long trial will turn to testimony in Jesus name.
·The exceeding greatness of his power will grant you access to your possession today in Jesus name Amen! Have we (Christians) seen the greatness of his power in operation before? Has it happened before ‘during Bible times or in the life of any Patriarch the word says Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Yes! It happened in the live of our Lord Jesus Christ, he raised the dead, healed the sick, and delivers the oppressed, by God’s power in his life and the anointing of the Holy Ghost upon his life. Almighty God brought Jesus out of the grave (death) and set him at his right hand by the exceeding greatness of his power. God’s power can heal a man but the exceeding greatness of his power can take him beyond sickness. Have you thought about this? Lazarus died of sickness. Jesus raised him after four days and Lazarus never return back to his sickness. John 11:1-45 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. *(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) *Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. *When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby… Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? *Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said…he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. *And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. *Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
That means the problems that brought you into imprisonment can be sort out by the exceeding greatness of his power. The help you need to be back to service can be supply today. God can overturn your end to a new beginning by the exceeding greatness of his power. God can disappoint those who hate to see your face again. God did not only delivers Israel from Pharaoh but got the host of the Egyptians drowned in the red sea, God is doing the same in your life, those terrible unchanged enemies pursuing you will be drowned to death today by the exceeding greatness of his power in Jesus name Exodus 14:20-31…And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. *And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. *And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. *And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians…And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. *And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them…The good news is that God wrought the exceeding greatness of his power in Christ, he can also wrought it in the life of any believer, believe him and call him now! If Jesus truly enjoys the greatness of God’s power and is set at God’s right hand, by same power, how great is the power. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: The highest hierarchy in the kingdom of Satan is principality, that has power to destroy and scatters lives without seeing them, they cause accident such as plane crash, ship wreck they cause racism, war, religious crisis, cause all kind of evil and chaos all round the world. Principalities are principal agent of the devil that possessed almost the same power as their father Satan. Ephesians 6:12
1. Power: Esther 8:11 records that Wherein the king granted the Jews which were in every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey, So there are powers of the people, the powers of the enemy, powers in the air, powers of witchcraft and all kinds of destructive powers. There are human being that drinks human blood for power, some consult Goddess for power, some goes into river, went inside rock, goes on mountains, went into trance, travel into the midst of the sky for power, some joined evil occult for power. The fact is that evil powers are real. Some get themselves so fortified that they can appear in places as they wish, hey! There are powers! Satanic powers are for destruction while God’s power is for deliverance and security of all the living.
2. Might and Dominion: Ephesians 1:21 says Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Yes! There are might and dominion that oppress people, captures people and won’t let them escape. There are some forces that oppress people in their sleep, put tension in their lives and create continuous trouble for men and women; they are power of the air called might and dominion. Isaiah 49:24-26, 41:11-13 can be engaged in warfare prayer.
3. Name: There are names of personality that commands fear, there are people that if they send you to places you will be given attention by the reason of their name and position in the society. There are fiery names of masquerades and bands that instill fear in people in past ages and even this age. Yet one great thing God almighty has done for us is recorded in Philippians 2: 9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: *That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; *And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. So the name ‘Jesus’ has been supernaturally raised above all principalities, power, might dominion and every name, not only in this world but also in the world to come. Jesus is higher than any evil power. Satan could dare him before resurrection Matthew 4:1-11 but not after resurrection. Matthew 27:50-53, John 19:30 Hey! Jesus has gotten to a position he want you to be. Climb up by JESUS.
Now that Jesus is above all, his ruling over all, but what is the position of others to him, how do we relate and get connected to his position? It’s good to note that Jesus re-positioning by God affects the whole world as all powers and Principalities, dominion, names and might are under him but not true to all except only those who truly accept him as their Lord and saviour can truly manifest in his new status.
Jesus is the head over all things to the Church, without him no church. Ephesians 5:27 says That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Wherever we may gather, our gathering in God’s house remains futile and fruitless except by the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. All things are under Jesus, the head over all things (Matters, Issues…)He is not the head over all things to all people but to the church. If you are not part of his church you are not safe. Now that we know better, what is church Ephesians 1:22.
The Church is his body, so if you are part of him you are part of his Church. Those who are truly born again are part of his body, and his fullness fill all in all. Therefore you have right to the exceeding greatness of his power.
