SINGLE EYE
After long time cry, many still remain in their problem which has brought the crying and gnashing of teeth. Solution is not as far as we think; hardship is not as hard as we think. Troubles are not as terrified as we imagined. Many people remained in their terrified state not because they have not prayed enough but they are not specific. In order for you not to confuse the Angel of blessing at your disposal, this edition of Voices From Zion written titled: SINGLE EYE Matthew 6:22-23 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single,thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
The scripture recognize the eye as the light of the body, without which direction may be absolutely impossible. Human has two eyes and almost all creatures have two eyes. If referring to our two eyes; God calls it single eye, therefore see your two eyes as one, how? It is impossible to make one eye look at left side properly and the other looks at the right side properly at the same time. If you are in doubt try it, make one of your eyes look up and the other to look down!
The Importance Of Our Eyes
The eyes gives value to every other parts of the body. The eye is most important; if you have no eyes or you are blind you may encounter the following problems.
*Inability to read letters correctly and swiftly or not being able to read at all. Matt 21:16
And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read… *Matt 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read…
*Inability to walk straight, sensibly alone without any guide. Isa 43:8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
*Inability to know genuine from the counterfeit Gen 27:1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.
*Inability to recognize colour or beauty John 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. Other problem a blind persons may encounter are, he or she may live his life on dirt without knowing it. * He may marry the daughter of his enemy without knowing. *Walk into danger zone without knowing. *Be killed by falling into a ditch. There are very many other dangerous problems that the blind person encounters. The best state of a blind person is to be taking care of at a particular state. Do not allow your blind ones to walk alone, if they died that way God will hold you responsible.
Our eyes are very (very) important to us and to our life of impart. Other disadvantages of blindness are that you will be limited in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. You need your eyes, refuse to remain blind. God can give you eyes.
THE BLIND:
Who are the blind? They are those that have lost their eyes sight physically or those that have lost their foresightedness; never seeing good coming (or not having depth into God’s plan for them).
*Those that never knew the exact thing they want are blind.
*Those that run after what they don’t really know (about) are blind.
*Those that change their mind often are blind.
*Those that live in hatred are blind. 1 John 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
*Those that run after fine girls and handsome men are blind. Prov 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. *Those that run after wealthy people are blind because they can be used for evil practices by the wealthy ones, not all hands are clean. Psalm 66:12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water:… * Those that follow the god of this world are blind. 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Can’t You See that the unrest devil has nothing to offer you: Job 1:7…Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro … No matter how deep you are in darkness God almighty can pull you out. Shout, Jesus bring me out! Blindness has claimed more lives than any other problem on this earth today. Some people look before they leap but they don’t see before they move and were cleared. I pray for you, you shall not die before your time! Please open your eyes.
How would you be telling someone you just met’ all your life history same day you met him, that’s foolishness and act of the blind. John 5:5-7
TYPES OF BLINDNESS:
1. Physical Blindness: Jesus heal many physically blind people and even gave new eyes in John 9:1-7 Physical blindness is not a big deal, whether cataract, partial or total blindness, eye defects, or any eye problems can be heal by God at wherever Jehovah God is reigning; in crusade, Church services, or as you read or hear Voices From Zion. Jesus can open your eyes and every defect in your eyes can be healed. If you are good in running ‘an athlete’ how will you run and become a star with your two eyes blind? You may be endowed to be a football star, how will you ever become one with blindness? The devil makes people blind so that they will not enjoy the blessings of divine endowment. Please hate blindness. Have you ever seen a blind world best footballer still playing on the pitch?
2. Spiritual Blindness:
This is when someone (a Christian) does not know the spiritual way out of his affliction. Even though Bible said in 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Some people have not seen the way of escape till now, you will come out of it in Jesus name. Battles are real to both saints and sinners but even to the saints; we will have different way out as dictated by God to individual saints. You will remain in some problems until you build a solid relationship with God. Only God can lead you out, but if you are spiritually blind, no matter what God is saying or showing, you won’t see it. The word says: 2 Peter 1:3-9 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: *Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious… promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. *And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; *And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; *And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. *For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. *But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Read verse 9 (to yourself) again. The reason why some people (Christians) run from one church to another is because they are blind, or have not learn how to seek God individually. Your spiritual eye is important without which you can not escape spiritual attack, every parent should act as prophet for their children, you must see ahead for your children. Pastors, Apostles, Prophets are ordained to see ahead for the people they spiritually fathered. The third kind of blindness is worse and rooted in instability. It is called-
3. Double Eye: James 1:6-8 …A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. This is the reason why many people are under the shackles of delay. Take a paper and document your desire before you pursue it. Stay on your job not on your jobs. Many people like everything their eye sees. God own the universe and he can give you anything but if you have double eye you will not get anything from him. The blind Bartimaeus got his eyesight back by being single minded on what he want (And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. Mark 10:51). May be he was rich and the enemy afflict him with blindness and he was carried out of his property to beg for alms, but when he called on Jesus his eyesight was restored.
How will you know, you have double eye?
*When you want two kind of woman at the same time.
*When you want two kind of profession at the same time.
*When your heart is after all that your eyes sees, then you will later discovered that you
have got nothing.
Advice:
What do you want: A woman or a man; consider not the colour’, beauty or how dressed or addressed, rather be attracted by the individual godliness and good moral characteristics. What do you want? A good profession; alright, go for what you like or better still what God is leading you to do. If you can define what you want correctly you will get it so cheaply.
Fighting Your Way Through Single Eye:
You have to put up a fight against all forms of doubt against your desire. Believe you will have it. Grab your testimony with your heart. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Whenever you feel like you should drop your right desire for whatever looks better, then consider those good things you have gotten through it.
Advantage Of Single Eye
Single eye will bring you into light which connotes way out of that dangerous situation.
I believe the spirit of God will expand and multiply these words to you for better understanding. Let’s conclude the way Jesus concluded this subject Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
