Reflection on Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness is not to forgo our responsibility and Endeavour but to align our life towards the expansion of God’s kingdom wherever we are found. Therefore we Christians should pledge to
- Look for ways to make God’s word reigns where it’s ignore or neglected.
- Keep living negatively to ungodly (worldly) standard.
- Ensuring God’s principles are followed and his instruction are obeyed.
- Letting God-in to matters, no matter what they are.
- Taking over territories for Jesus with the kingdom armoury at our disposal; such as the blood of Jesus, the anointing and divine ability in us.
Without seeking the kingdom of God, you can through running around and hard labour get your daily need met but by seeking first God’s kingdom, they are simply added to you. No matter the good you are doing to humanity it’s not a service unto God, until you surrender your life to Jesus Christ and become a Christian; all your humanitarian efforts will only get for you earthly relevance and rewards.
